Office 2007 and Office 2010 applications are in black & White

Step 1: Check if any compatibility option is checked.

  1. Click on Start >MY computer> Program Files> Microsoft Office> Office 12.
  2. Locate Winword.
  3. Right click on “Winword” and then click on Properties.
  1.  Click on “Compatibility” Tab.
  1. Make sure none of the options are checked.
  2. In case any option is checked, please uncheck and click on apply and OK.
  3. Follow step 2 to 6 for all these applications “Excel”, “Outlook”, “Powerpnt”, “MSAccess”, “MSPub”.
  4. Now check for the issue.

Step 2: Change the display settings.

  1. Click on Start > Control Panel.
  2. Click on Classic view on the left Pane.
  3. Open “Accessibility Options”.
  4. Click on “Display” Tab.
  5. Under “High Contrast”, uncheck “Use High Contrast”.
  6. Click on “Settings”
  1. Under “Your current high contrast scheme is:” select “High Contrast Black (Large)”.
  2. Click on OK and then Apply.
  1. Now check for the issue.
