Office 2010 installation stalls or freezes at the end


Disable Print SPooler from  : 

Start > run > services.msc > look for Print spooler > Right Click on print spooler > Properties > Stop the print spooler services > Change the Start up type to Disable.

Restart the computer and then try installing office.

    What kind of idiot would disable the windows printing subsystem? Do you know what will happen when you try to print something? Absolutely nothing! No printers will exist in the Printers folder!
    So NEVER disable essential system services!

      I am sorry forgot to mention how to enable to the print spooler services my bad. Apologize

      Start > run > services.msc > look for Print spooler > Right Click on print spooler > Properties > Stop the print spooler services > Change the Start up type to enable.

    Thanks for this web page which is genuine and helped me to fix office 2010 freezing problem during installation. I was very irritating with this error and used inbox pst recovery tool to repair pst file but the problem was still coming so i search for its solution and this blogger helped me so again thanks.

    Thank you for effective blog posting. I have use this Office 2010 installation stalls and i was able to install successfully. This i s a very helpful tool which was helped me. If you want to know outlook password recovery in which you can get instant solution to recover lost, forgot Outlook password from the MS Outlook application.

      I am afraid there is no Microsoft tool to recover the forgotten password however there are lot of third part website if you bing it or google you will be able to find. Request you check the previews before trying any paid software. let me know if this helps.
