Prevent Outlook Express from showing image attachments inside the message body
Ø Close Outlook Express if it is running.
Ø Press Windows-R.
Ø Type "regedit" (excluding the quotation marks).
Ø Click OK.
Ø Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{random, long ID string}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0.
Ø Select Edit | New | DWord from the menu.
Ø Type "Automatically Inline Images" (not including the quotation marks).
Ø Press Enter.
Ø Make sure the Data column of Automatically Inline Images says 0x00000000 (0).
Ø If it does not, double click Automatically Inline Images, type "0" (again excluding the quotation marks) under Value data: and click OK.
Ø Close Registry Editor.
Ø Start Outlook Express.
