How to check for the signature and create signature in Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007

Step 1: Check for the Signature
=========================

  1. Open Outlook > click on Tools > Click on Options.
  1. Select Mail Format tab > select Signature tab.
  2. Check the settings for Default Signature (top right side)
For a New Message it should show the Name of Signature
For Replies/Forward it should be the Name of Signature
  1. Click on OK.
  1. Restart Outlook and check with a new email.

If signature is not present try step 2.

Step 2: Create a New Signature

  1. Open Outlook > click on Tools > Click on Options.
  2. Select Mail Format tab > select Signature tab.
  3. Click on the New Tab
  4. Type the name of signature
  5. Create your signature.
  6. Check the settings for Default Signature (top right side)
For a New Message it should show the Name of Signature (new one created)
For Replies/Forward it should be the Name of Signature (new one created)
  1. Click on OK.
  2. Restart Outlook and check with a new email.
