It is possible that the issue is caused by the changes made to the navigation pane. We suggest resetting the navigation pane to help you resolved the issue.
- Close Outlook 2016.
- Press Windows key + R to launch Run.
- Copy & paste the code below, and then press Enter to execute it.
- Outlook /resetnavpane
If the issue persists, reset the views by following the steps below.
- Close Outlook 2016.
- Press Windows key + R to launch Run.
- Copy & paste the code below, and then press Enter to execute it.
- Outlook /cleanviews
